The Acuter Luma-X 40ED is a safe solar telescope equipped with a 40mm front etalon with 0.6 Angstrom or better half-width for observing active solar prominences and other solar surface details in the H-alpha band.

The Acuter Luma-X 40ED complies with and fulfills the requirements for transmission of ISO 12312-2:2015 (filters for direct observation of the sun). Always follow the instructions in the manual.

The 8mm blocking filter in the detachable star diagonal mirror is part of the Luma-X 40ED safety equipment. Never use the telescope with another star diagonal mirror for solar observation.
