Very high-quality, waterproof large binoculars from Helios with individual helical single eyepiece focusing for terrestrial observation at medium to long distances, as well as astronomical observation. The binoculars contain oversized BaK-4 prisms and fully broadband multi-coated optics. The high-quality triplet semi-apo lens offers high optical quality. The 45° angled view enables great variability for terrestrial and astronomical observation. The eyepieces can be exchanged for standard 1.25″ astronomical eyepieces to obtain other magnifications. The U-shaped fork mount was specially developed for astronomical use and allows observation up to the zenith. The binoculars are also available with built-in dew caps, finder shoe and equipped with a carrying handle. The housing is a sturdy all-metal construction.
