Since its introduction, the Star Adventurer has set standards in lightweight and portable Astrofoto travel mounts. Well, with the Star Adventurer GTi we take the next step towards the complete, GoTo controlled compact travel mount.

The great new Star Adventurer GTi is equipped with a built-in, illuminated polar viewfinder for precise alignment. It contains a USB interface, connection for autoguider and can optionally also be operated via a manual control box. Furthermore, a connection socket for triggering a DSLR camera is available, which can be programmed via the Sky-Watcher app SynScan Pro for iOS and Android. To use the mount near the equator, the counterweight rod can be attached to a second threaded bushing. Via the built-in WiFi, the mount can be completely controlled via a smartphone or tablet with the help of the SynScan app.

With the GoTo function and the adjustable tracking speeds for moon, sun and sidereal you have all the possibilities to discover and photograph the sky.

With up to 5kg payload, the Star Adventurer GTi is optimally prepared to record your well-equipped DSLR or mirrorless camera with a wide angle or telephoto lens as well as all accessories or even a smaller telescope with an astro camera. Of course, visual observation through a telescope attached to the Vixen standard prism clamp is also possible.

This version already includes an extension column and also a tripod, but you can also use any sturdy photo tripod.
