The Mount: The user-friendly Skywatcher Star Adventurer offers many different combinations to meet all your astrophotography and time-lapse photography needs. It is a highly precise, portable and stable tracking platform with sidereal, solar and lunar tracking and an automatic remote shutter release for your DSLR camera. But it can do even more: it comes with pre-programmed parameters to help you record interesting time-lapse videos with your DSLR. The Star Adventurer photo set contains the mount, a polar wedge, an L-holder, an adapter for connecting a ball head, a counterweight with a rod and an illuminated polar finder scope. Skywatcher remote release cables for most well-known camera models can be obtained as an option. The whole thing is now available in a beautiful gift box. The Skywatcher Star Adventurer can be mounted on any standard photo tripod with a 1/4″ or 3/8″ screw. With this set, you can mount your camera directly on the L-holder with the 1/4″ screw. This also allows small telescopes such as the SkyMax-90 to be used on the Star Adventurer with the counterweight. A small telescope and camera can also be mounted at the same time. (You need a ball head (not included) and the L-holder. Also, 2 cameras can be operated at the same time.
