These Skywatcher Standard 1.25″ eyepieces set a high standard for modern telescope eyepieces. The proven 4-lens Plössl design enables pinpoint imaging over the entire, wide 52° field of view. The use of high-quality optical glasses, excellent multiple coating and blackening of the lens edges ensure superb, high contrast.The Skywatcher SP series eyepieces minimize off-axis spherical aberration, distortion, astigmatism and off-axis chromatic aberration, while the oversized optical elements provide the observer with luxurious eye relief.Stray light is eliminated by the foldable rubber Eyecups, which are standard with every SP eyepiece, and all but the three smallest eyepieces have a rubber grip ring.Whether you’re conducting fine planetary detail or deep sky observing, whether you have a Newtonian, refractor or catadiopter, the SP’s high performance -Series eyepieces shows you the maximum.
