Sky-Watcher Esprit, in the spirit of perfection!<\/strong><\/p>\n Sky-Watcher’s new top telescopes Esprit EDX with 3-element ED apochromatic optics are premium instruments of the highest quality with truly impressive performance, equal or even more powerful than comparable telescopes of the well-known high-end telescope brands.<\/p>\n Esprit EDX Super Apo Triplets are designed primarily for the discerning astrophotographer, but also as a fine telescope for the visual observer. The premium, superbly corrected optical system delivers detailed images with the highest contrast and imperceptible chromatic aberration, even on the brightest objects with exceptional contrast and sharpness. <\/p>\n The Esprit-120EDX incorporates the same exceptional f\/7 optics as the previous model with a premium Japanese Ohara FPL-53 ED glass lens. Each glass-to-air surface has been coated with an exotic anti-reflective metallic coating to achieve a maximum light transmission of 99.5%. Sky-Watcher’s proprietary Metallic High-Transmission Coating (MHTC) is the highest quality anti-reflective coating in its class! <\/p>\n The Esprit-120EDX has an improved focuser design with Crayford focuser like the previous model and an even easier rotation possibility. In addition, the connection adapter can be rotated for easier adjustment of the image section. For extra convenience, the telescope is equipped with a carrying handle which can also be used to attach accessories. The extremely stable, CNC-machined dual-speed rack and pinion linear power focuser has a high payload and no play and is equipped with a 3″ extension tube with scale.
