It is equipped with the back-illuminated Sony IMX662 CMOS sensor, which offers a resolution of 2.07 megapixels (1920 x 1080) and a pixel size of 2.9 \u00b5m. Thanks to STARVIS 2 technology, the camera achieves a high sensitivity with a quantum efficiency of around 91%, which enables short exposure times.  <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">An outstanding feature of the ASI662MC is its high full-well capacity of 37.8 ke-, which is three times higher than that of its predecessor, the IMX462 sensor. This enables longer exposure times and reduces the risk of overexposure. The camera also has very low readout noise, which is automatically activated in HCG mode at high gain to maximize the dynamic range.  <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The ASI662MC is versatile and ideal for detailed planetary photography, capturing lunar and solar details (with a suitable filter) and for photographing brighter deep-sky objects such as nebulae and star clusters. With a frame rate of up to 107.6 frames per second at full resolution, it also enables real-time observations and electronically assisted astronomy (EAA). <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Another advantage of the ASI662MC is the absence of zero amp glow, regardless of exposure time and gain values. This results in clearer and less noisy images. The camera is equipped with a USB 3.0 port for fast data transfer and has an ST-4 autoguider port, which means it can also be used as an autoguiding camera.  <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In addition to the ASI662MC itself, the camera comes with a 1.25-inch adapter, a USB 3.0 cable, an ST-4 cable and a large field lens.
