The high-end Barr & Stroud 20-60×84 ED Deluxe spotting scope was developed for the experienced bird and nature watcher. A high-quality Japanese S-FPL53ED glass element was used in the lens to enable almost color error-free, true-color images. The ED spotting scope is equipped with a high-quality 20-60x super wide-angle zoom eyepiece with an adjustable eyecup. The eyepiece contains an aspheric element to correct spherical aberrations. The eyepiece is held securely in a brass compression ring. However, the spotting scope can also be equipped with normal 1.25″ telescope eyepieces, making it even more versatile. The Barr & Stroud spotting scope can be focused softly, comfortably and intuitively with a large, knurled ring. It contains high-quality phase-corrected BaK-4 prisms and is fully multilayer Coated optics for maximum light transmission and bright, high-contrast imaging It’s waterproof and nitrogen-filled for fog-free viewing The housing is made from a tough but lightweight aluminum-magnesium alloy and coated in a nice rubber to protect it from shock.
