With 130mm aperture and a superb parabolic primary mirror, the Starquest DX130P Newtonian reflector is a powerful all-rounder for observing the moon, bright planets, nebulae, galaxies and star clusters.
The new generation Starquest DX mount is a high-quality, lightweight mount that is easy to use and suitable for both beginners and experienced observers. Once aligned with Polaris, the mount allows you to easily track celestial objects using the flexible shafts. The mount offers a maximum payload of 5kg and comes on a sturdy, height-adjustable stainless steel tripod for maximum stability. The mount is equipped with 360° drives in the right ascension and declination axes. Optionally, a DC motor drive (no. 20940) can be attached to the right ascension axis for automatic tracking. The set includes a smartphone adapter for your first attempts at photographing the night sky.
