Magnification allows the star pointer to quickly target
celestial objects with both eyes. An artificial star, by a
generated by a red LED is projected into the field of vision via a mirror.
This makes it extremely easy to find objects.
The brightness can be regulated within a wide range.
The Starpointer also makes a good addition to regular optical ones
viewfinders. A 3 volt battery is required for power supply.
Two adapters are included with the StarPointer, with which you can access the
common Celestron-Schmidt-Cassegrains can be adapted.
