Skywatcher Computerized Equatorial GoTo Telescope Mounting System

The Telescope Mount: The Skywatcher AZ-EQ5GT is a dual-purpose, fully computer-controlled heavy GoTo telescope mount for astronomy that can be operated in both azimuth and equatorial directions. The mount comes with a special SynScan hand control box with software for AZ and EQ mode and can automatically search and track over 42,900 objects from its database. In equatorial mode, the mount can be used both visually and for astrophotography. In AZ mode it is primarily intended for visual observation, in this mode it is also possible to operate 2 telescopes in parallel at the same time. A great idea is the patented “Freedom-Find” double encoder technology. This allows the telescope to be manually moved freely in both axes without the mount losing the position data. This gives the observer enormous freedom and comfort when observing. Scope of delivery: AZ-EQ5GT mount tripod with stainless steel legs 2 telescope mounts for Sky-Watcher/Vixen standard dovetail rails SynScan hand control box/cable 2 pieces 3.5kg counterweights!
