The OVL high-performance zoom eyepiece for telescopes of the highest quality provides a flat field of view and sharp, clear and distortion-free images. It provides stepless focal length adjustment from 9mm to 27mm and an apparent field of view from 60° to 40°. Some reference focal lengths are engraved on the body for greater convenience. The eyepiece can be adjusted extremely smoothly and is a pleasure to observe. The eye relief is 18mm. The construction includes 7 lenses in 4 separate groups. This exotic eyepiece model features a generously sized eye lens and soft, adjustable eyecup for comfortable viewing. It is fully broadband coated, the lens edges have been blackened and it is equipped with internal apertures and is parfocal. The housing is high-quality, high-gloss black anodized and equipped with ribbed rubber grip rings. The eyepiece socket is equipped with a thread for standard 1.25″ filters to accommodate filters.
