Baader 1.25″ O-III Filter – 10 nm narrow band filter (10nmHBW) – for
extreme increase in contrast when observing nebulae.
[O-III]-Filters are particularly suitable for planetary nebulae. in the
[OIII]-Light of the doubly ionized oxygen unfold them
interesting nebula special structures. But also in gas mists are
often[O III] -Regions stored. A gas mist with the O-III-
Filters show completely different structures than with the UHC filter or even
without filter. The Baader O-III is particularly narrow-band, it only has 10nm
bandwidth. We recommend the use from about 200mm opening. underneath
only small enlargements make sense (but are quite possible). He
is a very good addition to the broadband UHC-S filter from
Baader.
